Trove keeps your data on your iPhone. We don't collect it, we can't see it, and we have no servers to send it to.
Everything you record in Trove — room names, item names, values, serial numbers, notes, item photos, and receipt/warranty photos — is stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. Your records are included in your normal iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or computer backup), which is managed by Apple under your Apple Account settings, not by us.
Nothing. Trove has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party software development kits. The app makes no network connections of its own.
Trove can suggest names for items you photograph. These suggestions are generated entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Vision framework. Your photos never leave your device for this feature.
When you export a PDF report or CSV spreadsheet, you choose where it goes using the iOS share sheet (for example Files, email, or a cloud drive). Those copies are under your control and governed by the service you send them to. Exports contain your property records — treat them like the valuable documents they are.
Trove Unlimited is purchased through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment and manages your subscription and free trial; Trove never sees your payment details. Apple's handling of that information is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Trove asks for camera permission only when you photograph an item or receipt. Photos you take go straight into your on-device inventory and nowhere else.
Trove is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children — because it collects no data at all.
Delete any item or room inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device. Because we hold no copies, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
If a future version of Trove ever changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version ships.
