Swept analyzes your photo library entirely on your iPhone. Your photos never leave your device, and we collect nothing — no analytics, no identifiers, no data of any kind.
With your permission, Swept reads your photo library on-device to find duplicates, similar shots, blurry photos, screenshots, and large videos. All analysis runs locally using Apple's built-in frameworks (Photos and Vision). The app makes no network connections of its own — there are no servers, no uploads, and no third-party software development kits.
Swept never deletes anything on its own. Every deletion goes through the system confirmation dialog, and deleted items move to your Photos "Recently Deleted" album, where iOS keeps them recoverable for up to 30 days.
Nothing. Swept has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no trackers, and no remote analytics. Counters the app keeps (like how much space you've reclaimed) live only on your device and are deleted with the app.
Swept Pro is a one-time purchase made through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Apple processes the payment; Swept never sees your payment details. Apple's handling of that information is described in Apple's privacy policy.
If you choose to share your reclaimed-space number, the share text and link contain only that number — never photos, names, or identifiers. Sharing goes through the iOS share sheet, under your control.
Swept is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children — because it collects no data at all.
Delete the app and everything it stored on your device goes with it. Because we hold no copies, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
If a future version of Swept ever changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version ships.
