The short version: Quipt collects no data. None.
Everything Quipt does — recognizing what's in your photo, writing the caption, styling the comic panel — happens on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks (Vision, Apple Intelligence, Core Image). Photos, captions, and strips are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Quipt has no servers.
A relay link contains only the app's name and a panel count (e.g. beat=3).
When you share a strip image, you choose where it goes using the iOS share sheet —
we never see it.
Quipt contains no analytics services, no ad networks, and no third-party SDKs. A few anonymous counters (like how many panels you've made) live in the app's local storage on your device and never leave it. This version of Quipt shows no ads. If a future version introduces ads for free users, they will be non-personalized, this policy will be updated first, and the one-time unlock will always remove them.
The optional one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store. We receive no payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchases.
Quipt collects no data from anyone, including children.
